Introducing Colour to Your Life

Once you are aware of the colours resonating in your life and have more understanding of their meanings, you can use this knowledge to improve your life and the lives of those around you.

Although it must be emphasised that colour applied to the body through light technology should only be administered by a qualified light and colour practitioner, there are other ways that you can introduce colour yourself, and the following are guidelines on how to do this.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
As there are contraindications in the use of certain colours they are given here and should not be used

  • RED - Do Not Use With High Blood Pressure, Hot Inflamed Conditions Or Excitable People
  • YELLOW - Use Very Sparingly And With Caution
  • BLUE - Do Not Use With Low Blood Pressure Or Depressive Type Illnesses
  • INDIGO - Do Not Use With Psychotic Or Depressive Disorders

Colour Breathing and Affirmations
As you breathe in imagine that you are breathing a colour into your body and as you do so say an affirmation. You do this six times and can make up an appropriate affirmation to do this. The following are some suggestions for you to use.

  • The red ray fills and permeates every cell in my body filling me with divine love, energy and power.
  • The orange ray fills me with joy and creativity. I enjoy life to the full
  • The yellow ray brings happiness into my life releasing any fears
  • The green ray balances and harmonises my life. I rejoice in the beauty of nature
  • The blue ray brings me divine peace and understanding and inspiration flows through me
  • The indigo ray opens my mind to wonderful opportunities with great knowledge and understanding
  • The violet ray brings peace and serenity into my life. I am in control of my emotions

Colour Meditation
You can either use a colour meditation tape or imagine the appropriate colours filling each chakra and related systems of the body, as you totally relax your body and mind.

Although crystal healings should be done by an experienced practitioner just by having them around you they can remove pain, elevate vibrational energies, promote clarity, release emotional blocks and promote a feeling of well being. Clothes and Decor
Colour can also be introduced through the clothes you wear and by covering the body or hands and feet with coloured material (preferably natural fibres such as silk, cotton or wool, or a synthetic and silk mixture) which can be purchased as body and scarf lengths of material.
