PERSONAL COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY

The use of colour language to express ourselves is deep within our culture and our collective psyche. We use colour expressions frequently in our everyday language; red for danger, I saw red, red roses for love, red rag to a bull, I feel blue, it's a blue day, green with envy, yellow belly.

Colour affects all our senses of sight, sound, smell, taste and feelings. Seeing colour can change our moods very effectively and through the method of 'Free Association' it can be used to access inner emotional psychological states bringing unresolved issues to the surface which can then be dealt with by a trained colour psychologist. Your dislike of a colour may be due to a previous unpleasant experience which is associated to that colour, or because more would give an imbalance.
